I’ve tried to capture this scene in transition several times, but shooting the facade of the building straight-on doesn’t do much for me. It took placing trees in the composition to truly draw out the dynamic, bold color. This is the Randolph side of the building that houses the Goodman Theatre, and these windows are actually peoples’ offices. I’ve never seen anyone here working late. I’d imagine getting things done before the distraction of the light show is paramount!
